Srinagar to Leh Ladakh

Day 1 Srinagar to Kargil

The trip of Srinagar to Leh  Ladakh starts with this day after arrival at Srinagar airport. We will receive you and will drive to your rebooked hotel at Kargil by visiting Sonamarg (known as Meadow of Gold), Enroute Drass which has become famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world by virtue of the intense cold that descends upon the valley along with repeated snowfall during winter. Winter Temperature is sometimes known to plummet to less than
40 degrees celsius. Have a magnificent view of Kargil War Famous Peaks (Tiger Hill Tololing) & visit Vijay Smark and pay your tribute to soldiers who laid their lives for us in Kargil War in 1999, reach Kargil Hotel by evening. Over Kargil Hotel.

Day 2 Kargil- Leh

The morning after Breakfast leave for Ule, en route to visit Mulbek is a huge Chamba statue, an image of a future Buddha, cutting to the rock face beside the road. It’s one of the interesting stops along the road after that visit Lamayuru monastery (founded in the 10th Century) it’s one of the oldest Monastery in central Ladakh later have a magnificent view of the spectacular Moon landscape after that leave for Leh en-route visit Nimo, Sangam of Zanskar and Indus River, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Evening Free time at leisure Over Night at Leh Hotel.

Day 3 In Leh

Visit Town and surrounds: The morning is at leisure for the rest after the long journey. After lunch visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace, and the markets overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 Leh – Khardongla – Nubra Valley (125 Kms)

After breakfast leave f0r Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Deskit and hundred of the area later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit/ Hundar for dinner and overnight in a fixed camp or hotel.

Day 5 Nubra Valley- Pangong (150 Kms)

After breakfast drive to Pangong via Shyok river reached Pangong in the evening. Enjoy the beauty of the lake while appreciating the changing colors of this fascinating high-altitude water body. Dinner and night stay at Pangong fixed camp.

Day 6 Pangong – Leh (150 Kms)

After lunch leaves Pangong/ Tangtse and retraces the Leh route across Chang-La. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, the biggest Monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, en route visiting the picturesque Thiksey Monastery. Arrive at hotel in Leh for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 7 Drop to Leh Airport

Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
